Day 01 - 05

Day 01 Arrive in Shanghai
Met upon your arrival, and then transferred to the hotel for rest. You could stroll in the Bund in the evening, which is the waterfront area of Pu Xi (West City) that faces the newer part of Shanghai - Pu Dong (East City). The Bund has been regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years, and the Nanjing Road which is one of the most important commercial and tourist streets in Shanghai.

Day 02 Shanghai/Chengdu
You will visit the Jade Buddha Temple which is one of the most famous Buddhist temples to be found in Shanghai and the beautiful Yuyuan Garden, traditional Chinese park decorated by beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rock formations. After lunch, take a relaxing cruise tour on Huangpu River, you will experience the prosperity of modern Shanghai. And then, have a tour to the Oriental Pearl Tower which stands by the bank of Huangpu River. It is in the centre of Lujiazui, opposite to the Bund which is famous for its grand buildings of various architectural styles. After dinner transfer to the airport to leave for Chengdu, the hometown of the giant pandas.

Day 03 Chengdu
In the morning, we leave Chengdu for the Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding just 10 kms north to Chengdu, where you can see the lovely tender pandas. You can also take pictures with a panda in your arms by donating some money. Then drive to Sanxingdui museum in Guanghan. In the afternoon we will have a good look of Sanxingdui Museum to learn about ancient Shu culture which features, its bronze articles, jade articles, potteries etc. You will be shocked by the amazing and mystic culture originated 4,500 years. Finish the day with the well-known Sichuan cuisine dinner (optional).

Day 04 Chengdu
In the morning have a visit to Qingyang Palace which is a Taoist temple with a history of more than 1,000 years, then we visit traditional Chinese tea skill performance and Sichuan Embroidery Factory to see the handicraft of Sichuan silk. Go to a local Sichuan restaurant to have a taste of Sichuan snacks. In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Marquis Wu, a shrine to memorize Zhugeliang, the premier of Shu kingdom during China's Three Kingdom period. Visit Jinli Street, a street features west Sichuan province custom. During the evening, you are strongly recommended to watch the show of Sichuan opera and you can appreciate the unique skills of local arts such as puppet show, hand shadow show and so on (optional).

Day 05 Chengdu/Kunming
Take the morning flight to Kunming, then have a tour for Stone Forest. 270-million-year-old limestone Karst formation of tightly bundled gray rocky outcrops, a natural wonder acknowledged as "World Karst Landscape Museum", Stone Forest shows a variety of unique shapes. Around the world renowned Stone Forest clusters many small Yi ethnic villages which are collectively known as Sanni Villages.

Day 06 Kunming
Today explore to Jiuxiang (nine villages) Scenic Region, a pleasant spot to split up your journey. It is a well-equipped comprehensive scenic region which is famous for its caves, mountains, rivers, deep valleys, minority customs and cultures. It has a mild climate all the year round.

Day 07 Kunming/Guilin
In the morning have a view of Xi Shan (West Mountain) nearby Dianchi Lake and Daguan Tower Park, which is renowned for the long couplet with inscription of 180 Chinese characters by Sun Ranwong, a poet in the Qing Dynasty. And later, take the afternoon flight to Guilin. Arriving at Guilin, be met and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle and tour guide. Optional foot Massage at night.

Day 08 Guilin/Yangshuo
The highlight of today is the Li River Cruise. This cruise along the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo is an unforgettable experience. As you take in the stunning scenery there's something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river. If you're very lucky you might see one of the famous fishing cormorants. After the cruise, we are arriving Yangshuo. Then you will have the time free to be totally relaxed. You can hire a bicycle enjoying the breathtaking scenery around the town or wander along the West Street or having a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe.

Day 09 Yangshuo/Guilin/Beijing
In the morning, biking via country road through the countryside and visit Moon Hill, in the afternoon, drive back to Guilin; visit the famous Reed Flute Cave. The huge cavern is known as the Palace of Natural Arts. Then Take the afternoon flight to Beijing.

Day 10 Beijing
Our first stop this morning will be Tian'an Men Square, the heart of Beijing and then tour the Forbidden City, the most complete ancient imperial palace in the world and the Summer Palace, one of the China’s largest and best-preserved imperial gardens Then you could end your day with another highlight Beijing Opera in evening (optional).
