Day 01 Home/Shanghai
Take the flight from home to Shanghai. We'll pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel upon arrival. After taking the dinner, you will have a trip along the Bund, which is regarded a landmark as well as the birthplace of Shanghai. With a length of 1 km, the bund is dotted with various grandiose solid buildings of western style dating back to the early this century in its west, while east of the bund is a new developing Shanghai. It is really a fantastic feeling to see "yesterday" and "tomorrow" on each side of the river.

Day 02 Shanghai/Yixing/Hangzhou
Drive for Yixing in the morning, which is called the "hometown of pottery". The pottery tea pot takes an important role when people are enjoying the tea culture. It is not only a container but also Chinese national art and a symbol of tea culture. By visiting the Pottery Factory, you will take a brief view on the procedure of pottery producing. You will even have the chance to design a pot yourself! How wonderful it is to make out a beautiful pottery teapot with your own hands! After lunch, we'll take you to the Pottery Museum, where you will see more colorful handicrafts. Take your time enjoying the fantastic collection of Chinese people's wisdom and art, and then you will be transferred to Hangzhou. Check in the hotel upon arrival in Hangzhou in the evening. (B)

Day 03 Hangzhou
Your first highlight after breakfast today is a visit to the China National Tea Museum, a national specialized museum dedicated to tea culture. The museum has been a fine host to a number of cultural activities on tea, including a series of international seminars on tea culture and exchange. Each year, countless tea professionals and aficionados from all over the world meet here to enjoy drinking and talking about tea. You can also enjoy the special cultural atmosphere here. After your lunch and rest time, go on with your tour to the Lingyin Temple, built in the year 321 AD, with it's cave carvings. It is one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. You will also see the Feilai Feng, a peculiar huge rock on the top of the mountain, which is said to fly from the sky in the legend. Have traditional Hangzhou cuisine for dinner, followed by tea ceremony demonstration and tasting. (B, D)

Day 04 Hangzhou
Today, you will experience the whole procedure of tea producing. In the morning, visit Dragon Well tea gardens for tea gathering. During the "withering" of the tea leaves, you can have a rest and have the lunch. In the afternoon, tour tea factory and fire our own plucked leaf. What will you feel when tasting the tea that you produce by yourself? After dinner, you can do some shopping at the "Teapot Alley", the Hangzhou's traditional night-time market. (B)

Day 05 Hangzhou
Today's first highlight is the West Lake, containing 10 sights named by people as the most beautiful. Lying on the west edge of Hangzhou city, West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China, which in the legend was originally a jewel fallen from heaven. Take an imperial dragon boat cruising on the West Lake accompanied by classical music performance and our own Dragon Well tea. Then, you will be transferred to the Hupao Spring. Due to its low content of mineralized ingredients and high percentage of radon, a radioactive element, the spring water, tasting pure, sweet and cold, is an ideal beverage for health. You can enjoy Chinese tea culture by tasting tea make of the Dragon Well tea with Hupao Spring water, which were born to fit each other and showcase each other's best, and have been known as two wonders in the West Lake. (B)

Day 06 Hangzhou/Fuzhou
Take the morning flight to Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province. Fuzhou has been the political center of Fujian since the Qin Dynasty. It has also been an international port with foreign trade since Han Dynasty and was a ship making center during the Song Dynasty. Fujian is also famous for its Oolong Tea. Check in the hotel upon arrival. Take a visit to the Traditional Sculpture Studio, where you can see some stylized sculptures of Chinese traditional art. After lunch, climb the Drum Mountain and keep on travel to Yong Quan Temple. You can take a bird's eye view on the beautiful scenery of Fujian. Special vegetarian banquet will be served at Yong Quan Temple as dinner. In the evening, you will enjoy the tea presentation at a Fuzhou-style tea house. (B)

Day 07 Fuzhou/Wuyishan
It will be free time for leisure and shopping this morning. You will take the scenic train at noon for Wuyishan. You can take your lunch in the dining car as well as enjoy the scenery while we passing through the Min River Valley. Arrive in Wuyishan in the evening and check in the Fujian Tea Hotel. After dinner, classic Fujian Oolong Tea and presentation will be served. You will be astonished by the twenty-seven exquisite tea serving steps. (B)

Day 08 Wuyishan
Your trip today will begin with a visit to the Tianyou Mountain. Tianyou Mountain is called the First Wonderland of Wuyishan, which is so high that its top is hidden in the clouds and mists. Climbing up the mountain is like visiting the palace in the heaven. Take some tea at the temples, and you will feel yourself in another world. After lunch, you will visit some traditional Oolong Tea manufacturer and see the procedure of the Oolongs' producing. Dinner time followed with leisure shopping at Wuyishan night market. (B)

Day 09 Wuyishan
This morning, you will visit Ming dynasty tea & home of ancient "Da Hong Pao" plants. After lunch, let's have a drifting down the Nine Bend Stream by bamboo raft! The winding stream spread through the green cliffs, so that you can enjoy the elegant scenes on the bamboo raft. The mountains and rocks all have different shapes and interesting names accordingly. After dinner, enjoy tasting the "Nut Tea" at a Wuyi-style teahouse. "Nut Tea" is the local specialty of Wuyishan, which is another demonstration of Chinese tea culture. The taste of nut tea highly depends on the nature of earth where the tea trees grow. Seen so many kinds of Chinese tea, can you tell the difference of the different tea categories? (B)

Day 10 Wuyishan/Beijing
Depart from Wuyishan and take the morning flight to Beijing, the last stop of your wonderful tea cultural tour in China. It is a unique representation of the past and future of China, a country with 5,000 years' history. Our first stop in the afternoon will be Tian'an Men Square, the heart of Beijing and then tour the Forbidden City, the most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Have dinner in Beijing old-fashioned restaurant. (B, D)
