Yes, we are home safe and sound and it really is good to be home again. We were very tired by the end of our holiday, having walked a long way, every day for 1 month.

We really enjoyed Xian and of course the terracotta warriors were fantastic. Gerry was very good and a really nice guy.

Thank you for the photos, I will print them out as a reminder of you and Chengdu. Yes, we will keep in touch and I will certainly recommend you to any of my friends visiting China.

Dear John,

I thought the itinerary was perfect for a first-time visitor. Our driver and tour guide were the most wonderful people and we truly enjoyed our experience. We were allowed enough free rein to really experience Tibet and make it our own journey.

Be assured I will definitely contact ATT again if and when I come back to Tibet. I have already recommended ATT several times on the Lonely Planet Thorn Tree forum.

Dear Kitty,

My wife and I planned a 3 week trip with Viking River Cruises to China and my wife wanted to ride the train from Lhasa to Beijing a week before.

I did a Google search on Tibet Travel and sorted through the various sites and decided I liked your company best based on the information on the web site. When I emailed I was impressed with the timeliness and completeness of the response including the recommendation to have my wife fly to Lhasa then take the train back instead of the other way.

My wife thought her tour and the guide were perfect!

Hello Michael,

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our trip to Tibet. Our guide, Tenzhin was superb and looked after us from when we arrived at Lhasa Airport until we departed by train. The visit to Everest Base Camp was particularly memorable. All arrangements were excellent and we enjoyed the accommodation provided.

The driver was also excellent and worked very hard.

The weather was generally very kind to us and we did not feel the cold. Travel arrangements were also very good and we enjoyed our time in Beijing and Xian.
My thanks to you also for all your help. I hope to return one day and will certainly be pleased to recommend your company to others.

Dear Celine,

We have all returned well to our homes, full of new experiences, impressions, full of pictures, souvenirs about your wonderful country. Apart of a real Everest-cold, we had no health problems at all.

Thanks again for your perfect organisation of our tour. Everything worked for the best. The hotels were all of good standard, we were expecting less!

The driver Tschuta we had was a very careful and safe driver.

The guide Lhaba managed very well the organisation of the tour; even the problems with the payment of the Everest permits were finally well solved. Nevertheless his knowledge about Buddhism and the monasteries was perfect. But both were very helpful, absolutely correct and punctual. I shall send some gifts now by post to your office address in Chengdu, hoping that one day the envelope will arrive there.

Thanks again for your big help. As soon as I have now prepared the program for the next year's tour, I will take contact with you.
