Major Porcelain Capitals in China

Foshan's Shiwan, a well-known ancient town with a history of thousands of years, is a place where the birth of heroes brings glory to and folk environment is of sincerity and honesty. With an ancient history, the ceramics is carried on generation over generation. With the blend of calligraphy, drawing, seal cutting, and ceramic art, the profound Chinese culture essence is adequately showed off. Jiangxi Jindezhen, the known town specialized in porcelain for centuries in the world, have been producing the porcelain masterpieces featuring high taste, unique style, and delicate techniques for thousand years. It was crowned the "Porcelain Capital of China".

Masterpieces created by a legion of liberators, masters, and scholars are popularly welcomed and collected by the general public.

Fujian Dehua, one of the ancient Chinese porcelain capitals in China, has a long history of porcelain production and culture. As a carrier of porcelain culture, Dehua kiln was formed in Tang Dynasty and well developed in Song, yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasty. Blue, blue & white, shadow blue, and black glaze porcelain as well as "Chinese White" porcelain were well known in the world a long time ago. Blue flower and colorful porcelain were brought at the height of brilliance and splendor in the Ming and Qing Dynasty. Since the China opened the door to outside of the world, Dehua porcelain was given a boost in efforts to revive this ancient art, now it has became a production and export base of western porcelain in China.
